I have just upgraded my PC to a Abit KT7A with Athlon 1ghz from a K6-2 500. I am attempting to install Windows (both 2k and/or XP) and once it gets to copying files I start to get file copy errors. I have used 2 different Win2k Media and 1 XP media all with the same result. My system is configured as follows for win2k install.
Abit KT7A
Athlon 1ghz
Kenwood 72x (also tried a teac 52x same result)
Elsa Gloria Video
384mb Ram
Any help or suggestions would be helpful. I figure I should be able to install from the HD fine, but I'd rather not copy all the files from the cd.
