Hi, I have a system with two partitions. I already have installed XP RTM on my C: drive. I was wondering if it is possible to install Windows 2000 on D: drive.

I already tried to pop my W2k CD into the system, but XP refused to install it as W2k is an older OS.

Thanks in advance.

You can boot up with the 2k cd.

A word of warning, when I did 2k after RC1, 2k messed up my NTLDR file and maybe another.. I'd suggest backing up the files in your root drive just in case.

But if for some reason it breaks it, you can reinstall XP and both os's will work fine.
