Install/upgrade Vista RC1?

What issues are there with Vista RC1? Is it stable enough to be installed as a gaming OS? My main work machine is my laptop, but I do want to be able to game on my desktop.

Should I use a second HD for Vista, or should I run the risk of an install over my current XP install?


ALSO: what are the gaming bench marks like in Vista? Anyone got any good links?
 
when i try to install the vista (pre)RC1, i get to the part where you have to click "install now" and then it asks for my dvd drive drivers.....it doesnt detect my dvd drive....i cant proceed with the install after that.

this didnt happen in beta 2
 
i installed it, some minor problems, but its runs my games pretty nice, i put fear combat on it and it ran like a charm, its still a little buggy but a lot better than beta 2, good job microsoft
