I want to improve the graphics of my aging Dell Laptop - FX5200 Go 32mb.
It is usually docked in a Dell PD01X.
It appears I can install a PCI card to the docking station. In the BIOS, I can tell it to use the graphics card in the docking station.
Dell PD01X documentation

Would this work?

What Video Card could I purchase that is compatible with "one 3.3- or 5.0-volt, half-size or smaller PCI expansion card" ?

For gaming? You probably won't see any difference in other applications.

Probably just a 6200 since this is PCI not PCI-E.

The purpose of the upgrade is to improve gaming. Even basic Turn-Based Strategy games require 64mb of video memory.

6200 something like this?
This is PCI 2.1. I don't understand the differences in PCI.
The PCI slot in the docking station has one space/divider where it connects.... this PCI 2.1 has 2 spaces. Will that work?

Yes, it will work. But you can also get a Sparkle 9500GT

but I'd worry about heat inside that enclosure...
