Install osx 10.5 on G5 from image

Hi

I have lost my disc with 10.5. I have a powermac G5 2.3 DC on which I like to install osx. Since I don't have a DL burner, I can not burn my image to a DVD (because it is to large to fit on to single layer).

Is there any way of solving this? Can one put the image on some external drive etc ?

Best regards
Johan

Ok, here are the steps that I used on my old PowerBook.

Partition drive into 2
Restore OS X image onto partition 2
Reboot and select partition 2
It will launch the installer
Install OS X
Delete Partition 2 and re-integrate it into the drive

You can restore it to a firewire external as well. Older PPC macs will not boot off of USB.
