Install new hardware notifications

Is there any program/trick that lets you know what piece hardware device manager is giving you an exclamation point about? When device manager gives you warning, it's usually not very specific about what. It usually says PCI bus or something. How can I find out what exclamation point refers to?

This may not help but to get rid of the warning by it you could try uninstalling the hardware
