install new DHCP server

The Windows 2000 server that's acting as the DHCP server had a hard disk crash. I don't have any back-up for the server. How can I install and configure a new DHCP server quickly? The network has over 40 Windows 2000 Professional clients, and I don't have a listing of all the IP addresses being used. Thanks.

You can config your router/firewall to do the temp DHCP service, or start the DHCP service with one of the partner server.
Rejoin the domain with your newly reinstalled Win2k server, and follow the Wizard at the initial install to activate Active Directory & DHCP or run it from the MMC console.
Then turn off the DHCP service on the temp DHCP server.
