Ugh, just thinking about it pains me. I hate working on my car. It is not that I can't, it is more I don't wanna.

I am looking at getting a:

Pioneer GEX-P900XM Receiver (Add on XM Radio receiver for my DEH-7200P Deck)
Terk TRK-SR2 Antenna

$150 for the Rcvr with a $50 coupon for future purchases
$80 for the Ant minus $30 MIR

Should I just let a d00d at a shop install it? BAH! I will do it. Thanks guys! You are the best!

I wouldn't it...its a total pain in the ass. Get a local shop to install it (not CarToys) and they'll charge you anywhere from 40-50 bucks. Its not worth the trouble to do it yourself. Plus they'll make it nice

If you have the right shop and don't mind paying, then why not? I like doing things myself so unless I'm uncomfortable with something, I would do it myself. Course, that's just me.

I know back in the day the shops had access to better harnesses for decks than consumers did. The consumer harnesses were pieces of crap. They wouldn't fit half the time. These days they might be better but its still far easier to have a shop do it.

For things like amps and speakers I'd DEFINITELY have a shop do it.
