yeah that's true, but doesn't hurt to have a DVD when you want to wipe your whole HD clean
Yeah, like in my case, where my entire hard drive got *wiped*, meaning Z-E-R-O number of partitions. It's partition-less drive, ha ha.😀 Good discussion A+. :thumbsup:


Clean install for me ... residue left from upgrade bothers me.

I always do a clean install. I like to have that new computer feel.

What I do is have two hard drives in my MBP. One holds my home folder and the other is my Mac OSX. I can do a clean install and leave my home folder untouched.
