Hi all,
I'm putting together a new system with a Gigabyte P35-DQ6 and a Intel E6750 with the stock box fan.
I got the processor installed, but no matter what I try, I cannot get the pins of the fan to engage the mobo. It seems like the processor/socket is too tall, and the heatsink has metal flanges that hold the pins are a millimeter or two too high.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks,
FD
