I have windows 7
I am trying to install QtSpim_9.1.7_Windows for a computer science class I have to take. It is the software my professor wants us to use.
I went to my professors website and downloaded the zip file.
I have tried to extract the zip file for QtSpim_9.1.7_Windows and I keep receiving a error that says before you extract files you must copy files to this compressed(zipped) folder. I made a folder with the zip file name, but that didn't fix anything. So i am sure I am miss understanding the error.
So after that I went to the direct website(my professor also provided) and downloaded the exe file. But when I run that I get another error, saying it is not a valid win32 application.

Any ideas on how to fix one of these errors?
