im using a lite on dvdrw and seagate sata hdd. what do i set the dvdrw as? slave ? master? or "cs"? and which one do i connect to ide1 or ide2?
 
If you only have an SATA Seagate hard drive, and I'm assuming the DVD-RW drive is PATA, it is probably better to set the DVD-RW to master on either of the IDE channels (it really doesn't matter if you don't have any other device on the same channel).
