Install a driver for your network adapter

Hi I recently reinstalled windows on my computer and I had never had this issue before with this computer but it is saying windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to reinstall the driver.

I didn t have this problem when I installed my previous windows. What can I do to fix this? If you need any other info let me know, thanks.

Are we talking on motherboard nic? Find out what amke the nic chip is and get driver from manufacturer.

Did you completely wipe the old installation?

If not, just select properties on the network adapter in device manager, go to the "Driver" tab, select "Update Driver...", and specify/browse to the old windows installation so your computer will search there for drivers. Then, windows will find the previous driver you were using, recognize it for the card, and install it.
