Right channel has no sound when I plug in headphone to headphone jack on my Inspiron 6100. I've had the machine for about 8 months. THis weekend I plugged in one of those connectors that has one end looking like a headphone jack, and the other end splits into RCA jacks, so I could listen to mp3s on my stereo. Sound was coming from both channels, and I do this quite often without problems. But the next day I plugged in my headphones and no sound on right channel, tried stereo, and no sound on right channel there either.
What could have caused this, and how do I fix it?
