Inspiron E1705 CPU Upgrade Question

My budget only permits the Core Solo processor (T1300 1.66GHz) at this time.

Anybody know if I can upgrade the CPU to a Core Duo sometime down the road? Perhaps a T2600 - 2.16GHz.

I've checked the Intel site, and they seem to be "pin-compatible."

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...
