Inspiron 9200 ram question

I'm looking around for some ram for my 9200 that's coming in since it only has 256mb.

It has the 755 (2.0ghz) Dothan processor in it w/ the 400mhz bus. I see the ram that comes with it is pc2700. Would i be able to buy some pc3200 SO-Dimm's and match it up 1:1 ratio between memory speed and bus, or is the pc2700 the fastest that the board accepts?
