The dell inspiron 8600 is available on their website ... any inputs on which one I should pick over the other? Is mobility the main difference between the two? Also, what is the diff. between the 8500 and 8600 ?

TIA!

8500 and 8600 is obvious.. the 8600 uses the Pentium-M Centrino.

The 8600 compared to the 600m, the 8600 is larger (6.9 lbs vs 4.9lbs), but it can house more upgrades and better video and a wider 15.4" screen. I'm considering the 2 myself by the 8600 is a lot more expensive.

I'm considering between
