I have a dead Dell laptop, dead as in, plug it in,.. no anything.
I tested the PS, and it's working (19.2V)
I pulled the battery, and held the on button for 30 secs, plugged it in, w/o battery and held the on button fir 30 secs, replaced the battery and tried it again and it's still dead.
I pulled the power switch and checked the connector (there are some articles that say it may come back to life if the connector is shimmed) nothing.
Some suggestions would be anything at this point.

Sorry I can't help but I'm in the same situation. What does that reset procedure you did suppose to do?
