Inspiron 8600 and GeForce FX Go

Anyone have any idea how I can get my desktop and games to stretch and fill the full screen? When I lower my desktop resolution, I just end up with a small rectangle surrounded by black. The same thing happens when I run games like Battlefield or Raven Shield.

I am using the Inspiron 8500 with the 4200 Go... to telling you how it works on mine...

Try this...

Display Properties-> Settings Tab-> Click Advanced -> Geforce Tab -> Flat Panel Display

There are three options here
1) Display Adapter Scaling
2) Centred Output
3) Fixed aspect ratio scaling.

I am using no. 1 .... display adapter scaling....

See if this fixes ur problem...

On my Dell laptop, I press Fn and F7 (Font) to get it to do "resolution expanding"
