Inspiron 8100 Upgradeability ?

I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 with a P3M 1200MHZ processor running in it. What processor speed can i upgrade it to ?

According to CPU-Z it has Intel i815/E/EP chipset in it.

As for RAM it has Infineon SDRAM PC133- 128mbx2 in it.

I just got this old laptop from my father and its a bit slow for my needs so maybne i can upgrade it a bit

I don't think it's worth upgrading...the highest Pentium III CPU is only 1.4GHz and I doubt it would be that much of an improvement considering the cost...$212 on pricewatch.com...

I am sure you could upgrade the RAM to at least 384MB though; maybe even 512MB...that would help a lot more...

THanks, yeah the processor upgrade is expensive i guess. I should look into getting another 256mb of ram.
