your getting the slowest dual core processor... a 14" XGA screen without Truelife and onboard intel graphics..the 640m/E1405 is still pretty heavy for a smaller laptop...the best deal I have found is Here @ Dell Outlet

you can get a better laptop like the E1505 or E1705 for a killer deal with better graphics and a better screen

go to the dell outlet link I sent and sort by model 9400/E1705 and you will see them all..they have some for $749, $779, $799

but super nice 17" widescreens!!

The $649 E1505 deal today is a decent value for light gaming if you spend the $99 to upgrade to Radeon X1400 graphics, $50 for DVD burner, and $10 for a recovery CD.

Dell outlet is 90 day warranty, add $89 to the price to get normal 1 yr. I have been watching it for 4 nights without finding anything that was still hot by the time I got to the checkout with shipping and "handling" and tax.

Best "recent" deal was a couple weeks ago with a now expired coupon, my advice wait til the next batch of "real" deals shows up.
