Inspiron 600m Touchpad

While using the touchpad on the 600m I'm beginning to think that from time to time the center of the pad stops responding to movement. I literally have to remove the finger from the pad, and then bring it back down to get it to respond. Has anyone run into issues with this touchpad.

Next time... I'll bite the bullet and get a machine with the trackpoint.

The touchpad is a replacable item, or you could use a USB external mouse. 🙂

Yup... Up to date on drivers...

Nah... this one's for Dell's to fix. Way I figure it after all the hassle they gave me when I asked for a 5400 RPM drive and got a 4200 instead they should suffer. I actually had one of their reps tell me that only CPU speed affects system performance and that hard drive speeds are irrelevant.

Back in the day when I used to call'em about servers they were actually able to comprehend and converse in English.

my 600m doesn't have any sort of problem like that, the touchpad works rather nicely and doesn't lag at all.
