So it's nice and warm here in LA, near 70 degrees. I figured I'd hit the St. Tammany Trace and spank out a few miles. I got right into the groove on my ol' steel framed schwinn and rode pretty hard for a couple of hours.

Turns out I spanked 41 miles total, AVS 18.4 mph.

Get out and ride you neffers!!!!

I was going to say "excuses, excuses" but I was in chicago this week and I can relate!!
 
I really want to go out and do something today. I woke up about an hour ago and I saw how nice it was. It's a great day for baseball.

Impressive. I avg about 13.5mph on my MTB riding on the road, not sure how much difference the Roadbike makes. I enjoy the workout and scenery eitherway. I did 21Miles last weekend.

Your mtb speeds are quick. Road bikes make a huge difference. Skinny tires and aerodynamics make substantial differences.
