Darwinism - natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce

-> ppl always compete for better education, job, relationship, etc

We always upgrade computer & hardware for better performance.

It seems that the guy is thinking of upgrading his gf/relationship for a better (left to imagination) ?

let alone the ethical & religionary problem, what's wrong with that ?

> but the real blame belongs to the slut cheating on her husband.

Another point of view, that girl married @ 23 yo, it's very likely that she hasn't have enough "fun" b4 settling down (marriage). btw, 23yo seems a little early in today marriage standard.

P.S. None of the above applied to celebrity

I'm looking at it from the standpoint that her hubby is going to feed him to the fishes when he finds out....thereby removing this asshat from the gene pool.

Assuming he didn't make the whole thing up, of course. I still maintain my opinion that he's full of it.

ok everyone is blaming the guy. yes, he's a participating party. but the real blame belongs to the slut cheating on her husband.

You gotta love this kind of rationale. 🙂

That logic is flawed. How can a filthy skank-basket be an upgrade?

Bah. Takes two to tango. She shouldn't be cheating and he shouldn't be involved with a married person.

well yah. but take a seriously committed, respactable lady in a relationship. you can have half the world hitting on her and she'll stay true. but if the girl is a slut, then.....well, we have threads like this.

What's that saying about walking a mile in another person's shoes?

The biggest problem I see is that there is an immature young man who is infatuated with an immature young woman who got married to someone A) she obviously doesn't love.

People get married when they shouldn't get married all the time. There are two sides to every story. Whose fault is it?

The thing is, will anyone learn from it? If at least ONE of the parties grows up a little after this and learns something about what love really is, then it served a good purpose.

You can look at the menu but you just can't eat
You can feel the cushions but you can't have a seat
You can dip your foot in the pool but you can't have a swim
You can feel the punishment but you can't commit the sin

And you want her
and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her
and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame

You can build a mansion but you just can't live in
You're the fastest runner but you're not allowed to win
Some break the rules
And live to count the cost
The insecurity is the thing that won't get lost

And you want her
and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her
and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame

You can see the summit but you can't reach it
It's the last piece of the puzzle but you just can't make it fit
Doctor says you're cured but you still feel the pain
Aspirations in the clouds but your hopes go down the drain

And you want her
and she wants you
We want everyone
And you want her
and she wants you
No one, no one, no one ever is to blame
No one ever is to blame
No one ever is to blame

I agree, I'm just saying both parties are to blame. No one but an asshole would hit on a married woman.

OK, tell me this, why do you hold so much value on marriage?
What do you think of married people that are swingers and go out and have sex with other people, yet the other person knows?

And if you automatically think that a married woman or man is a slut or whatever for seeing someone they're not married to, and you don't know all the fact, you are an Asshole plain and simple. So many people here are so quick to judge and push their morals onto someone else that it is frightening.

My personal opinion on marriage is that it should be outlawed untill both parties turn 30 and have finished growing up.

I don't think it's a great idea with regard to the overall health of the relationship, but it's CONSENSUAL. Big difference.

Whatever. If you're married and you cheat you are a dirtbag. Got a husband who beats you? Leave his ass (and take him for everything he's worth) and then find a new lover.

My personal opinion on marriage is that it should be outlawed untill both parties turn 30 and have finished growing up.
Out of curiousity; how old are you and are you married?

Exactly.
And no one but an asshole would cheat on their spouse.

Interestingly enough, when my husband was a young man (20ish) his dad had an affair with a woman in the office. This woman was not as attractive as his wife, but she was a very nice person.

My mother in law is such a twisted, high maitenence, personality disordered wretch, that my husband actually WISHED his dad would grow some balls and get divorced. But he didn't. He broke it off and has been paying for it with his tail between his legs ever since.

Is my father in law an asshole or just someone who is too invested in a codepent relationship? Most people think he is very nice... a wonderful man. And he is in many, many ways. If his own son didn't blame him for falling in love with someone else, why would anyone else?

There is something about not casting stones I recall somewhere...

Isla = very wise.

I love how everyone here, even those who have no similar life experience to draw upon, is so very quick to judge everyone involved. Relationships (marriage or no marriage) are complex entities, and can go bad for a variety of reasons; condemning someone for having an affair without knowing all sides of the story is nothing but a display of ignorance and immaturity.

The problem with that is that no one ever finishes "growing up". I'm over 30; the day I stop learning, maturing, and gaining new perspectives on everything around me is the day you might as well bury me..
