Inspired by another thread. Superman vs. Yoda

The Superman vs. Goku thread made me think about making a thread for those who didn't watch anime. So who would win in this fight. The best the jedi have to offer, Yoda. Or the Kryptonian wonder Superman. For the purpose of this fight, Yoda does get to use his light saber and of course his complete mastery of the force should be factored in.

Yoda will lose. Remember he had trouble lifting that heavy pillar in star wars 2. How the hell is he going to stop superman with such less force? Also the light saber will be blasted with the rays from superman's eyes. Yoda = owned. Or maybe he could kill Superman with his atrocious grammer; after all, superman is a journalist

HONEST OPINION:

I am a geek at heart, and have contemplated this battle, and I can truly say, with a straight face, that yoda would win this battle. For one reason, and one reason only. The Force.

Superman has NO defense against it. All yoda would have to do is mess with supes mind using the force, and supes is down for the count.

And dont say "yoda wouldnt do that" Superman wouldnt go all out on yoda either, and if either of them were, the other would, most likely, retaliate appropriately.


And the lightsabre being blasted by supes eye beams? PUH-LEASE!!!!! If Yoda can absorb raw force lightning, heat is going to do nothing to him (and yes, Jedi can extend their range to their lightsabres as well)

The speed issue: The force would warn yoda of what superman was thinking (if Yoda activiated this, true, but we are assuming that both are going all out to defeat the other) before superman even thought it. Light speed reaction times dont help you when the other guy knows what your doing before you do it.

Fist fight: Superman 10/10
Fight using abilities going all out, Yoda 8/10, giving superman 2 times to be nice.
