Inspired by another thread - anandtech lawyers chime in - Would it be illegal to return a neighbor's dog business?

I know - I just can't get the idea out of my head.

If you saved up dog droppings from a discourteous neighbor and returned them, could they do anything legally?

Immensely curious. . .

Now I think that you should be able to - but I can see the call to the cops - Neighbor says, "He is harrassing me and look he gave me a bag of dog poop". . .

I would think it would not only highlight your unreasonableness(talk to your neighbor if there is a problem), but I'd imagine there are several statutes that you could *possibly* be charged under. Certainly not likely, but why be a prick? Everyone around here gets along just fine because no one is a prick about things.

I assume that by "here" you're refering to your neighbourhood not ATOT 😉

LOL - I was just curious. . .

I could care less about what craps on my lawn, I never go outside 😛

going outside is a healthy way of pursuit of life and happiness.

Best solution:

Fry up a couple pounds of bacon, reserving the grease. Eat the bacon, and pour the grease on the dog droppings on your property.

You get bacon, neighbor's dog thinks it gets bacon, and you and your neighbor don't resort to throwing flaming bags of crap at each other.
