Inspiration for Graphics...

Hey.

I'm wondering what sites you guys use that look very nice graphic wise, because I need some inspiration to add gfx to my powerpoint...

Or even graphics tutorials...

I'm not going to use the themes in Powerpoint, I'm going to make a custom wallpaper and/or effects in Photoshop

my biggest suggestion for a powerpoint is not to use the packaged images.
if you happen to be in a group of people each doing one you will no doubt run into two or more people using the same lame graphics template.
i generally make my own images (and believe me, ive got no visual artistic talent). but make sure they are not huge and load the presentation down or are too flashy.

Well, it's a science project that has to deal with heatsinks, aluminum, and copper.

I'm trying to get some nice effects on the top and background, different color for each page which I'm gonna do in Photoshop.

I'm gonna remove the bg from the heatsink pictures and place them when I compare the heatsinks.

So, a IT/Technology Graphics. Well.. just slick gfx, simple, maybe gradients and/or diagonal/horizontal lines with nice and unusual colors.

well, generally speaking i use works of...you know, art. i go with simplicity so i go with rothko, wright, lichtenstein and stuff like that.
websites like http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpapers/
that have pretty decent and simple background art. i like it. i dont ever use it but it sometimes gives me ideas of good colors.
