anyone ever used them before?
theyve got a 1000W 6.1-ch system, 810W RMS at best buy for $200 (i was skeptical)
sub is 190W
system response 20Hz-20KHz
5-disc dvd changer

i dont know much about this item though, so i need some clarification here...
harmonic distortion: 10% @ 4 ohms

Well I must say you get what you pay for, I think it should sound ok if you are not looking for anything spectacular. I would go for something with just the reciever and speaker package, check out the onkyo systems out there now, good price great sound. I would then buy a 5 disc changer separate from it, it might be a bit more money but not too much more for something that sounds awesome, and it something breaks the unit isn't all in one!!!

To be blunt if I may, that stuff is junk.
 
There is no way those specs are even remotely close to accurate.

I agree with CreativeTom's suggestion to check out something from Onkyo.

Something like a 770 set would get you a pretty nice entry level system.
 
thats what i figured, but i wanted to be sure
and if youre gonna reccomend stuff, i prefer to stay under $250

im gonna make a new thread for this
 
insignia is one of best buy's house brands and is generally junk. its more or less a rebranded generic part, not worth the money cause it will probably break in a week or 2.
