Just like the ferrari, technology for the win. Did you see the part about not using the launch control? It posted a 4.0 without the launch control.

We'll just have to see what the other reviewers get... It should not be more than a week...

Thanks to AWD, the numbers are impressive for such a pig. The real zinger is how easy it looks to drive. I would not say it is unreasonable for an average person to rip off 0-60 in 3.5 consistently with the LC. The Z06 driver will still be spinning his/her tires trying to get the power down. In the corners it is no contest when it comes to an average driver (most of us). The AWD confidence inspiring grip is the key. While the Z06 is a better performance car, no doubt, the GT-R is a much better package IMO, much more usable. The 911 Turbo cannot really be compared with price factored in.

It is. All the cars were tested in different conditions, especially the GT-R. The trap speeds tell the real story. None of these cars are about pure speed though.

Add a couple mods and this thing might sneak into the 2's, crazy.

im curious how the GTR's AWD compares to the veyron's.

the veyron might be 500lbs more, but it has double the HP/TQ and can get 2.5.... i think. so it's really a matter of keeping traction for the GTR (after said modding)

The Veyron also has special tires made for it though..

god i can't wait for someone to get an actual video of intense driving on a track! 0-60 means nothing! some on top gear/best motoring!

looks like it handles very nicely with minimal body roll... and awesome brakes!

I suppose that means its hp at the crank is underrated like the BMW 335i that was dynoed to have something like 280/300 at the wheels..

That's a dynapack, they tend to read higher than dynojets because you have to take the wheels off to connect it to the dyno. No wheels means less rotating mass and losses. They read roughly 5% higher than dynojets.
