INSANE neighbors and their lawn

I live next to an assisted living home (like an apartment building for old people). Really nice place and it fits into the neighborhood well.

My beef with them is this...they are mowing the lawn again. It's 9AM and they are mowing. The finished mowing yesterday at 5PM. And two days before that.

Ithink the groundskeeper needs to look in to senility
 
Cover their lawn with weed killer. No lawn equals no lawn mowing.

9am isn't that bad, considering old people go to bed at 4pm and wake up at 2am...to them they're basically mowing the lawn in the afternoon.
 
hahaha that reminds me of my granny...

when she was in her 70's she used to live in a duplex/housing complex that had a grounds keeper. He was a younger guy...in his 60's. She told us one day that she liked it when he came around with his weed whacker! And yes, she meant it that way.
 
I don't understand why people dump a whole lot of dangerous chemicals on their lawns, only to have to mow 2x-3x weekly. A perfect lawn is unnatural!
 
Seems obvious that the groundskeeper gets paid every time he cuts the lawn, so he's going to make as much as he can.

I once had a neighbor who cut his grass three times a week, sometimes with a flashlight duct-taped onto the mower so he could see when it was too dark. After a couple years I got the courage to ask him why he cut so much.

He told me that his wife was a jogger and had been nagging at him for not getting enough exercise, so one day he agreed to go jogging with her. An hour later he was exhausted but what was worse was he was couple miles from home. He then decided to cut the lawn for exercise, figuring that if he got too tired, he could be on the couch in two minutes. 🙂
 
I'm not really mad that they are mowing at 9AM...but damn, it's only been 16 hours since they last mowed...WTF

at least your neighbors mow their lawn
 
some people are pretty anal about their lawn's appearance. however, given that it's an old folks home, perhaps they just forgot about cutting it yesterday... 😉
