Never knew they allowed that kind of stuff on youtube, I'll have to wait until i get home before I check this out. Never even considered looking on youtube because of the nature of thier videos.

Bad Brains are the shit. They were actually pretty talent jazz musicians who jumped on the punk bandwagon in 1977 and pretty much invented the East Coast hardcore punk sound.

Not all their stuff if crazy hardcore punk. They broke it up with some really nice reggae and in the 90's they played more of a progressive sound.

responses are what I expected...not for everyone...punk is all about "F--- YOU" and who gives a shit. When I am in the right mood - running/working out, it's my favorite. And please don't reference Green Day when talking about punk. You can break down the musicality - or lack of - to each his own, music to me is supposed to inspire emotion.
