Inquiry about a locked thread

Hey, I don't mean to be a bother, but I was just curious as to why my post about wormwood was locked My Thread

It was merely an inquiry as to whether or not any board members had an experience with a herb that is legal in the United States.

I didn't think it was a problem to post such a thread, since doing some simple searches I found threads about
Absinthe (which is not legal in the U.S.):
HereHere
and Salvia (which is another legal herb):
HereHere

neither of which were locked when posted.

I am not intentionally making a fuss, but just wondering why an (what seems to me as) 'Off Topic' discussion on wormwood isn't allowed?

Thank you for your time.

I would hope it would be due to a "set of standards" that keeps the forums from getting out of hand. Many people would run with this and make a mockery of your quere. Common sense tells us that there is a line that shouldn't be crossed in an arena such as this. Only a suggestion, other websites native to your question, might be a possible avenue to explore.

Sure it was!

"Why not just smoke some grass?"

"Friend who I am partying with for a week coming up has a drug test soon, so I don't want to leave him out of the activities."

Ways to try and get high that won't show on drug tests don't exactly qualify as "merely an inquiry".
