Input VGA HD15/DVI/YPbPr (component) video to my PC (for capture)?

What is the best way to do this? Will this offer me any better quality than crappy ol' S-Video?

As far as I know, there aren't yet any consumer-level products that have component inputs...

HDTVs do though, correct?

Yeah...most if not all HDTV sets should have component inputs, I believe.

Edit for clarity: My first response was about PC products, of course ;)

Yup unfortunately I'd like something cheap. Additionally, is there anything that inputs VGA HD15 or DVI for recording video? I want to record high-quality HD from my external tuner, some how. I can see stunning quality when I hook up a DVI connection from my tuner to my LCD. I assume coaxial analog TV connectors are worse than S-Video too?

I'm not aware of any capture cards that have DVI or VGA inputs either, unfortunately...I go to the AVSForum HTPC forum somewhat often, and they all want one over there too. :p

Edit: About the coaxial cables...to be honest I don't know, but I would imagine that S-Video is better.

Hmmmm I guess I'm screwed. Well thanks for the help anyways. :D

Are there any expensive VGA/DVI input capture devices for that matter, then? Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to make as every monitor has VGA/DVI inputs. I presume there's no DVI-to-VGA-style adapters (that come in your video card box) for this purpose either?
