Input on TP Link Router

Hello All,

My Linksys wireless g router has been on the fritz recently, and I think it is time for me to purchase a new router. I was looking at the TP Link TL-WDR4300, and I was hoping to receive some input as to whether or not people feel that this is a decent router.

I live in an apartment, and I just need some basic networking. I play games, stream movies, all of which I use wired connections. The only things we use wifi with are our laptops and phones. Which when using those, it is to check emails and what not.

Basically what I am getting at is for the activities where I want a good connection, I use wired. Wifi is a lesser priority, but needs to be stable and relatively good. Sometimes my wife streams movies to her laptop via wifi.

If you also have any other thoughts for a decent wifi router for hopefully under $100, then I am all ears.

Thanks.

Its decent but it can be unnecessary if you have no use for its dual band which may require purchase of additional USB dongle or NIC to actually use it. TP-Link TL-WR1043ND is a cheaper alternative without the dual band feature.

TL-WDR4300 is on sale now for $60 @ egg... (w/promo code EMCXSVR247)
Can't really say much about it, except, some people love it, and some people hate it.
Looks like they don't have good quality control.
