New build, desktop, work(coding, vm'in win/nix, database etc) and leasure(movies, netflix etc), - no gaming.
Samsung 950 Pro PCIe SSD (cause speed and boot, debian)
1TB 850 EVO (cause its leftover and for fast VM's)
8TB spindle (cause space)
Skylake 6700k
Mainboad : ???
64GB of DDR4 - what speed?- (cause space, and VM's).
GFX : ??? - I'd like to drive 4 screens, three of them likely 4K and at least one of them 60hz.
Was seriously contemplating HEDT, haswell-8 core beast .. but really grinding the numbers, no matter which way I turn the table, four cores + HT is still plenty.
Now the idea is to take my current workstation haswell 4770(non k) and turn in into a windows-10 gaming box-only and use these buggers to switch between the two units :
