input not supported?

Got a wierd problem with my sig rig at the moment, done some brief searching but I haven't come up with any results yet. From the minute I boot my system until windows has fully loaded I get a message on the lcd screen saying "input not supported". Its fine once windows has loaded, and may seem minor, but it's a pain in the arse when I'm in the bios and can't see anything. It only started yesterday after I unplugged the monitor and plugged the rig into the 43" plasma. Since then (ie this afternoon due to another problem) the rig has been formatted and reinstalled but error still remains. Any suggestions? I'm thinking this is something in the bios or something, but not sure, cheers

Could be that whilst the OS is booting up, it doesn't have the resolution needed to put a pic onto your tv.

Don't know if that is it, but, as long as you can get into the os, does it matter?

It's not connected to the tv now, I connect it to the tv rarely, usually when the kid is in bed, then we have to connect it to the monitor when we've finished.

This is an OSD message from your monitor? Sure sounds like it. What is the monitor?

Reminds me of the old "coffee cup" problem posted here from years ago...man...that was a RIOT.

yeah its an osd on the monitor that appears when the rig is first powered until the windows logon screen, ie when the driver loads up it goes away
