"Input not supported" error after installing ASUS TV/FM card

i installed a ASUS tv/fm card on my pc at school and for a while everything was working fine. But then i formatted just to keep my HD clean. i reinstalled the drivers and software for the tv card and when i went to run the program to watch tv i got a blank screen with a message box saying "input not supported" i could not get around this message screen, i tried safe-mode and everything but eventually i had to reformat. i want to get this working so i can watch tv and not study. does anyone have any suggestions? i know these are the correct drivers because im using the same cd to installed the drivers when i had the card working.

also im not using a video card, my video is running off of my motherboard so maybe i might be missing a multimedia drive for my motherboard that is crucial for the tv card to be working..........

any help would be greatly appreciated
