Input needed, black screen after test 4 on 3dmark11?

like the title says. MSI r6870 hawk. Any suggestions? gpu at default settings and my cpu is not overclocked.

ran it once last night, i walked out of the room and when i came back the screen was black and pc was still running

Well, this might sound simple but restart and try it again. See what happens.

resatarted and same results. vertical lines come down the screen right before everything goes black. any ideas?
