Just curious if it comes off as a) a little TOO desperate or b) if it's a sign of eager excitement?
I applied for a position through a website (LinkedIn), but I never feel 100% confident it gets to whom it's supposed to get to. I've been debating either mailing in a resume or faxing one in just to "make sure". When I saw the position, I almost pee'ed myself at the excitement (venture capital) and don't want to come off too needy, but would also like to balance it with the fact that I'm actually considered because they have my resume.
My other option may be to wait a day or two, and attempt an email/voice contact with the person sending the resume to and asking if he received it.
