My 18 month old has had a cough and nose that wont stop running. He's blowing snotbubbles the size of a golfball also. His eyes are all watery and just not feeling well for the past 4 days. I told my wife this morning we should take him to the Dr. but she wants to wait.

Anyway, fast forward to about 30 mins ago. I get a voicemail from her.

"Hon, how do you spell pneumonia?"

I try to call her back and no answer. I immediately jump to conclusions and call the babysitter and no answer.

My mind starts racing.. what to do, what to do.. pneumonia in babies can be serious and what if she needs me to get the kids from daycare or something.

Finally after 7 minutes of agony she calls me back,

Turns out she's handling a claim for her insured (she works for an insurance company) and had to spell pneumonia out for a claim she's working on. She had left her work phone in the kitchen temporarily so she called me on the cell phone.. I patiently spelled it out for her and told her to use dictionary.com next time.

I hang up and breathe a sigh of relief. Overactive imagination 4tl.
