Anybody have one these Inno3d cards and would you recommend it? I'm sure it performs on par with the other Geforce 2 pro cards but was wondering how the 2d looks and if it overclocks well, thanks.

I "had" one, until I broke several traces on the PCB installing a Blue Orb. <G> It ran great, but I didn't try overclocking it. 2D/3D quality was great as well, particularly when comparing to my TNT2 :(

I just bought a Geforce2 Pro today but at all the places I looked, I did not see that Inno3D card anywhere.

I ended up getting a Leadtek 32mb Geforce2 Pro for $138 from NewEgg. It only has 5.5ns memory, I think some Pros come w/ 5ns, but that's good enough for me.

The Leadtek card is actually only $135 at sg3d.com but when I called to ask about shipping rates to Hawaii, the guy was a real wise ass so I hung up on him did not want to order from them. The lady at NewEgg was much friendlier and even though they may take an extra day to ship out the order, I was more than glad to give them my business. Customer service goes a long way in making sales. These small outfits like sg3d.com that treat customers like crap will fold up in no time at all.

My present card is a Leadtek Geforce DDR so I'm pretty sure the picture quality will be on par with I've been looking at for the past 9 months. I tried a Radeon earlier this year for a few days and did not notice any significant differences in 2D, though many Radeon owners would beg to differ, and ended up returning is due to poor framerates and problems running certain games.

Nvidia cards seem to have the fewest compatibility issues, though my current Geforce developed a compatibility problem w/ my floppy drive and internal Zip drive when I put in a new mobo. Might even be related to the 686B Southbridge issue, though nobody has been able to give me an answer yet. That's kind of the reason I'm getting the Geforce2 Pro. Hopefully the problem is gone when I put in the Pro.

Good Luck w/ your vcard search and if you can't find the Inno3D, I'm sure the Leadtek will serve you just fine.

i got one of those from Newegg about 2 months ago and still using it! Umm 2d at 1024x768 on my 17" is good, but I've nevered tried running higher resolutions. I've tried overclocking it, but these Pro's get hot!!! So hot that I think overclocking it after a period of time w/o proper cooling actually slows down the card...so I would recommand changing out the fan on it and putting some ram heatsinks on it if ya wanna o'c it
