Heya all.
Our company has a hp deskjet 948c. It's a good printer, nothing wrong with it.. it's just that I use "red" colour extensively compared to other colour and it drains the catridge suppliy rather quickly. (with other colours still half used)

So..

I'm looking for a printer that can have three seperate catridge for (red, yellow & blue) so I can just replace only the red catridge (thus less cost overall).

So..

Can you recommened an inkjet printer for me plz?

Current Canons from the 400 series upward use all-separate inks - four or six depending on the model.

the 2000 is an AWESOME printer. It is just sometimes hard to find the print heads for it now but the cost of running the printer is pretty good and the quality is damn good.

did I mention it has to be able to print in A3 size? :)
umm I guess I forgot about that.. hmm..

I found couple of printers that can do that, one of them is EPSON STYLUS COLOR 1160 and the other is canon S4500.. is there beter ones?

For business use the canons tend to be better than the epson clog-masters.

Lower cost per page and they don't clog all the damned time.

Canon S4500 is a bit old, but yes, it's single ink A3. All the four-digit Sxxxx models are A3. There's the higher resolution and A3+ (read zero-margin A3) 6300, and then there's the 9000 six-color photo printer. The former two use BCI3-xx ink tanks, while the 9000 uses the larger BCI6-xx. Larger ink tanks might be interesting if you often print large format, this reduces the probability of running out of ink mid-page.
