Inkjet Printer Poll.

looking at an Epson 880 or 980 and a HP 932c. i want a sub $200 (Epson 980 is pushing the limit, but creativity can lead to the right price) machine that is reliable and does a good job at everything. the search has led to these 3.

opinions and personal experience welcome.

ps. while lexmark has some nice printers, no one has much praise for their long term reliability so i have ruled them out.

I would try and pust the limit, and get a 980, I have an 860, and it is really good though.

Well, I have the HP 932 and I love it. I have used it a ton with no problems, and output is great. I went through 2 Epsons and they both got the dreaded clogged jet problem. I will never go with another Epson when the HP's are built so well.

In my opinion, Epson printers & scanners are the best (when compared to printers & scanners in their price range)...

I personally own an Epson scanner, and I love it...ony photo paper + 720 dpi, the quality it simply stunning (ie. like a colour laser printout)
