Injury and Insurance Question

I've torn my ACL and went to see some doctors and took an MRI of it. My insurance paid for the costs and I just got a letter in the mail asking about the details of the injury. Because my friend was involved in the injury, I'm worried the insurance company might come after him for some reimbursement. It's my fault as much as it is his, but can I leave him out of it and claim full responsibility?

Gotta watch that rough sex, man. J/K.

Anyway, I had a similar situation a few years ago when I broke my fibula just above the ankle. Fvcking around after having a few beers and POP! there she goes. Anyway, I didn't have to tell my insurance company anything about how it happened or anyone else's involvement. 'Course, they didn't ask, but if they did I would have just told them the truth. I don't think they could have done anything to go after my friend for reimbursement. It's not like a car accident or anything.
