Should be interesting to see how she does. Her game is nowhere near as polished overall as Annika's, but she can hit her driver as long or longer than most of the men.

I think she is way over her head here. She needs to get the skill base down in her short game and also get rid of her father as a caddy. She is an incredible player off the tee with the driver though. It'd put me to shame for sure.

Think she will do a little better than Sorenstam. Sorenstam would be lucky to make par on every hole from the men's tee. Whereas Wie can actually hit the ball farely well off the men's tee.

Don't know how her drive is in comparison to men's, but seen her on the LPGA and she was smoking it.

I disagree. Sorenstam has an excellent iron and short game which makes up for her lesser yardage on the tee. Sorenstam was not putting like her normal self at Colonial. If she had, I think she would have made the cut easily.

As for Wie, she can at max pull driver out, what, 14 times a round? Where are the other 50 + shots going to count? I personally think she will not be making the cut unless some other guys are really playing crappy golf.

Man how freakishly tall is she? I'm sure an extra 5 inch's todesn't help tee that much. But more on her power and technique. She'll maybe grow even taller also!

Agreed, but it's still a bitch to be hitting 5-iron into a green while the guys are hitting an 8 or 9. Much harder to go after the pin and stop the ball with longer irons. Especially when they've got the greens shaved down for a PGA event.

We'll see. She's capable of going low, but is still pretty inconsistent. It will be amusing to watch her outdrive the poor guys she's paired with tho. 😛
