Inhofe wants FEMA, DHS to get divorced

Good ol FEMA. Can't get their act together no matter who they answer to.

Removing FEMA from DHS would be a good start. DHS is too big and and has too much power. Dismantling DHS would help restore the balance of power in Washington between Congress and the Whitehouse.

Replace FEMA with WEMA... Walmart Emergency Management Agency.

Look at how well Walmart responded to Katrina, left the government in the cold.

FEMA really needs to partner more with companies like Walmart, LOWES, Home Depot etc.

Perhaps FEMA's relief side should be run by private companies working together with the government.

Yeah right, these companies exist to make a profit period. Their charity work, while commendable, is only for public relations purposes. Maybe what needs to be done is that those in charge of these public relations for those companies should be recruited for FEMA instead of the cronies of the Dub who like the Dub are incompetent.
