i havent really gotten a chance to play until i walked around my alma mater a few days ago. this game drains battery like mad.

while I was in Asia I hit up a couple tourist spots in TAiwan and Hong Kong and forgot that they could be possible portals. By the time I realized I was too far away from the mass portal fields. I wasn't gonna tell my friends that I had to run back to hack a few portals either... lol.

So you either have to be super hardcore about this or else it's hard to really do much if you just hack a portal a day near work or something.

how you guys doing in this game? I didn't really start playing til late Jan because I was overseas for quite a while, and it's difficult to play unless you're in an area with tons of portals.

however once you do get into it, it drains mad battery AND time... and miles. I went from L1 to L5 in about 5 days, and I hung around late at night with some high level guys who did bombing runs.

Once I hit L5, I started going out on my own, especially after L6. I just hit L7 yesterday, and it's nice to be on the other side of the road now doing the bombing runs and letting lowbies fill up.

Heh.
