Ingame gamma & 3d prophet 2 mx

Is there anyway to tweak the ingame gamma for the hercules 3d prophet 2 mx? Something like how with the Voodoo's you're able to tweak the gamma for each D3D and OpenGL. With Half-Life the shadows are just too dark. I've tried all the console commands that are suppose to change the gamma and such but they do nothing. I've used 3Deep and that has helped somewhat but the 'tweaker' option does nothing for me. I'm not sure if it due to a bug with Win ME or a bug with 3Deep. I've emailed 3Deepgames about 4 times and haven't heard from them in 3 weeks. Any help would be great. Thanks.
