I had problems getting my account set up, the process is convoluted as hell, but i will say they do answer phone calls quickly and effectively.

switched to emigrant due to their 4% and will probably keep it there, unless HSBC's 4% is also stable.

on a side note, im preparing for an exam so i have no time to look through HSBC's details... do they charge you a fee for using the ATM card at HSBC to withdraw money from the internet account?

thanks.

emigrant direct signup process is laughably outdated. ingdirect took what, 2-3 days to sign up and deposit money? emigrant took me about 2 weeks to complete the process before i could deposit anything. their website layout is straight out of 1998.

Yeah, I'm getting a bit disappointed with ING. All these quarter point interest rate increases... And I'm only getting 10 to 15 basis point jumps in my interest rate :(

Is paypal even FDIC insured? I doubt it.

I just got a letter from Emigrant today. They said they have over 150,000 customers with $4.5 billion in deposits!!

I have been an ING member for a couple months now. When I signed up, I started it taking 10 bucks a week out of my checking, I would now prefer it take out 25 bi weekly or 50 per month. I know how to setup for the new ammount, but where do I go to cancel the old transers?
