So I had a problem with this mission too on veteran, took me forever to pass it.

This is the method I used. When you walk into the TV room there is a shotty sitting at one of the first cubes, I picked that up as my second weapon. From there I identified the room in the back as the hallway to the door upstairs. From when you walk into the TV room and look right it's back and to the left. So with the shotgun out I threw all three of my flashes towards that hallway because it seemed that's where the troops where coming from. I didn't throw them all at once, I staggered them and ran straight back through the cubes, once I got close I took the troops out with the shotgun and holed up in the back room and picked them off from the back.

I'm going to have to try this. I had to restart the entire "Charlie Don't Surf" mission just to get my flashbangs back. I've been trying all kinds of manuvers to get back to that room where the respawning enemies are coming from. I've made it back there about twice and just get owned by a grenade or some enemy popping around the corner to nail me in the head.

I'm dreading the stupid ferris wheel mission now, but I'm just going to do what ragingbitch did and go fuck off in a corner until the chopper arrives. then i'll die running out to the chopper.

I wouldn't just fuck off in the corner...you have to kill some people too. 🙂 There's a certain spot that gives you a great deal of cover, and is an ideal sniping position. I don't want to give it away, but just play the mission and see if you can't figure it out. The fact that I said your buddy is invincible makes this mission 100 times easier. 🙂

Before I gave up on playing Veteran, I'd camp out in one of those small ticket booths and toss back grenades. It seemed to work...up until the air assault teams repelled into the park.

lay your claymores BEFORE you set your partner in his sniping position. When you lay him down, you'll get 10 more. Once you have set up all 20 claymores, hide in the ticket booth closest to him. get all the way up under the table in the corner. you may have to toss back a few random grenades but it worked for me on the first try after trying 100 times other ways.

T.V. station was not that bad, just keep moving and you will get out.

I am at the bogged down tank, tried it once so far but the bastards over took the tank, will try again tonight.

what a kick ass game though....😀
